Is anyone not happy to see Ricky win?

Rickie Fowler won the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic on Sunday, defeating Collin Morikawa and Adam Hadwin in a playoff. Fowler shot a final-round 68 to finish at 18-under-par 266. Morikawa and Hadwin both shot 67 to join Fowler at 18 under.

Fowler birdied the first playoff hole, the par-4 18th, to secure the victory. It was Fowler's first win on the PGA Tour since the 2019 WM Phoenix Open.

Fowler's victory was a long time coming. He had been struggling for most of the past two years, but he showed signs of a turnaround in recent weeks. He finished tied for third at the Memorial Tournament and tied for fifth at the Travelers Championship.

The win was a huge relief for Fowler, who had been feeling the pressure to win. He knew that he needed a victory to get his career back on track.

"It's been a long time," Fowler said after the win. "I've been working hard and I've been patient. I knew it was going to come eventually."

Fowler's win was also a popular one with the fans in Detroit. He is one of the most popular players on the PGA Tour, and the fans were thrilled to see him win.

"It's amazing to have the following that I've had and then the people that have always been in my corner and pulled for me and supported me, but you also deal with the other side, which is unfortunate," Fowler said. "It feels good because I know a lot of people are excited and happy, and also probably quiet down some other people."

Fowler's win is a big step in the right direction for his career. He is now back in the winner's circle, and he will be looking to build on this momentum in the coming weeks.
